Compassionate God and Father of all, make your ways known upon earth, Lord God, your saving power among all peoples. Hold back the hands that seek innocent blood turn around the hearts that hate. Grant instead your strong Spirit of Peace – peace that passes our understanding kindle, we pray, in the hearts of all, the true love of peace that changes lives, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Guide us with your pure and peaceable wisdom. Amen
